This small bathroom boasts both traditional and modern elements. The traditional plumbing fixtures, wood molding, and window treatments are mixed with more modern floor and wall tile shapes and colors. The chevron pattern on the warm gray stone floor tile is carried through to the shower floor. Note how the shower floor has a linear drain near the wall; so, no need to use small, old-school, mosaic tiles. The walls are finished with a pale gray, large-scale, subway tile, taupe-brown rail moldings and liners, and rectangular mosaic tile (used for panel and niche accents.)
